I’m pleased to say the greenhouse and polytunnels are now fully restored structurally. I had carelessly left all the doors open for ventilation not anticipating the high winds that would tear the doors off which then smashed and ripped the glass and plastic. I was out of town the evening in question trying to have fun but thinking all the time about our precious food! Thankfully, the grape vines, fruiting courgettes and peppers, and recently sown carrots, lettuce, and winter salads, although blown about and also smashing glass and tearing plastic, generally survived the blasts. Some lesson there about the durability of the natural vs. the artificial no doubt. Anyhow, back to normal here.
