The ‘Vote Conservative -- they Oppose the Multicult’ meme

Sarah, Maid of Albion put up a very good blog at her site and at Green Arrow’s urging people not to fall into the trap of voting for the establishment party/ies again now that they are talking the right game on immigration.

Of course, we have been here before, the last time that our politicians were forced to address the subject of immigration during the months leading up to an election, thirty years ago, in 1979.

Usually, all political parties comply with a secret pact whereby none of them mention the subject of immigration before an election, because they all have the same failed policy, and they do not want it discussed. However, this time, the growing popularity of the BNP, means that they have no option other than to address the subject and start lying through their expensively capped, tax payer funded teeth.

Voters over 50 will have seen this before, in the lead up to the 1979 election, the then opposition leader Margaret Thatcher gave a famous TV interview to the “World in Action” program during which she alluded to the fears in many communities that they could become "rather swamped by people of a different culture".

Thatcher was widely condemned, even then controlled media, for using the word “swamped” but she used it deliberately, and as cynically as Johnson used his words at the Royal Society.

Like Johnson, Thatcher had no intention of changing immigration policy, but she fooled enough people into into believing she would that they voted for her, rather than the National Front, and she won with a majority of 43 and the rest is history.

The BNP is not the National Front, but the issues and the Lib/Lab/Con troika are the same as they were in 1979, just much worse. Do not let history repeat itself, do not be fooled again.

This is an especially important message going into the next election because now that it’s become clear that Labour will not win the MSM are strongly pushing the idea that mass-immigration has been a peculiarly Labourite obsession, suggesting that the Tories, had they been in power, would have acted differently. Nothing could be further from the truth. Race-replacement migration has been every bit as much a Tory program as a Labour one and will remain so. Right-liberals have no more grounds on which to say ‘this far but no further’ than left-liberals, and so never do say ‘no further’ -- much less, ‘let’s back up a little.’

Recently I came across this quote in a Times opinion piece discussing Birmingham City Council’s plan to rehouse immigrants suffering from overcrowding, in accomodation that otherwise would have gone to Brits who had been waiting on housing lists, often for long periods of time:

What are likely to be the feelings of 50,000 white would-be tenants in Birmingham, who have waited years for a decent house, when they see newcomers, no matter what their colour, taking over whole streets of properties?

It was published on November 8th, no, not yesterday - November 8th, 1954. Nothing changes! Churchill was PM then, and in the 55 years since the Tories have been in power for 31 and we’ve had six more Conservative Prime Ministers, every one of whom made the situation worse. Will the boobs be fooled again? Will they vote Tory in part because they believe it will halt our dispossession? Millions will, but I predict that for the first time more than a million won’t be fooled, and shall vote for a party that means it -- not only on immigration but on other issues close to all social-conservatives’ hearts.

Tweedle-dumb

Can this be the same BBC whose staff professed to being baffled at the BNP’s claim that alongside those things which are ‘British’ in a legal sense, are also things British in an ethnic sense? It be. Shame on ’em.

A Fine and Heroic service to Civilization

Concerning a closely related struggle, but in a different country and era and with different reference points, Georges Sorel gave advice that may be worth storing away for today’s British nationalists:

The danger which threatens the future of the world may be avoided if the proletariat hold on with obstinacy to revolutionary ideas, so as to realize as much as possible Marx’s conception. Everything may be saved if the proletariat, by their use of violence, manage to re-establish the division into classes and so restore to the bourgeoisie something of its energy: that is the great aim towards which the whole thought of men who are not hypnotized by the events of the day but who think of the conditions of tomorrow must be directed. Proletarian violence, carried on as a pure and simple manifestation of the sentiment of class struggle, appears thus as a very fine and heroic thing; it is at the service of the immemorial interests of civilization; it is not perhaps the most appropriate method of obtaining immediate material advantages, but it may save the world from barbarism.

The political and even the democratic is no less the preferred method than it was before the race-replacers outlawed the BNP’s policy of being unapologetically White, but we must know that other means to our ends might one day become preferred or necessary.

Like Jefferson said, ‘The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.’

Gabbing about the BNP

At Vdare Sean Gabb posted a libertarian defence of the BNP’s right to be White.

On Monday, August 24th 2009, the British Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) began legal proceedings against the British National Party (BNP). Its cause of action is that the BNP restricts membership to white people…

This is a politically-motivated prosecution. The BNP has long upset the people who now rule Britain. Its denunciations of mass-immigration and of multiculturalism disrupt what would otherwise be an almost smooth wall of praise—or at least of caution—by the other parties.

Despite universal condemnation in the media, the BNP has made considerable gains during the past few years in local elections, and managed to win two seats in June this year to the European Parliament. It may win a seat in the British Parliament at the next general election. Stopping the BNP is high on the agenda of the powers that be.

All well and good, and support from all quarters is welcome, but I take issue with some of Dr Gabb’s subsequent comments:

This being said, shutting down a political party simply because it dissents from the established multicultural faith is not something that is yet done in Britain. It is too openly an attack on freedom of speech… [The] authorities are frightened to make a direct attack on freedom of speech. Instead, they are relying on laws that abolish freedom of association.

Doesn’t this imply, contrary to Dr Gabb’s claim, that ‘freedom of speech’ is not so fundamental an issue as freedom of association? Good luck winning your right to free-speech from a hostile state if it only permits you to act individually.

There are no white equivalents of Operation Black Vote or other ethnic advocacy groups.

This should be fleshed out a bit, it is the very reason for this attack on the BNP: the regime cannot allow a collective public voice to Whites as a whole or the native Britons specifically because our settled opinion is “No more race-replacement please!” How would the regime respond to such a demand on our behalf from the BNP? “But your race-replacement is necessary because ...” -- Because what? The BNP must be silenced because the establishment cannot justify its programs the BNP opposes.

The next Conservative Government will fail to reverse the disasters that Labour has brought on the country. This is because the Conservatives do not even intend to try for a counter-revolution. When the failure has become manifest, people will turn to the only alternative party that has forthrightly denounced the Labour revolution and has an existing electoral base. This will be the BNP... I fear that the BNP will, by default, become the only viable champion of counter-revolution… I can easily imagine how the BNP might replace the useless Conservatives as main opponents to what has been done to this country.

Become? Replace? The BNP already IS the only viable champion of counter-revolution. So why doesn’t Dr Gabb get behind them now? He explains:

The problem is that the BNP and much of its leading personnel used to be national socialists. There are too many published statements in praise of Hitler or denouncing the Jews...

Of course, people change their opinions over time. Middle-aged men are not necessarily to be judged on what they said or wrote in their late teens. That excuse has been made and accepted for the Ministers in the Labour Government. Many of these in their younger days were Trotskyite street bullies. Peter Mandelson, who is effectively deputy Prime Minister, joined the Young Communist League three years after the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia, and used to sell the Communist Morning Star. John Reid, who was a Home Secretary in the Blair Government, was a member of the Communist Party in his late twenties, and was noted for his admiration of Josef Stalin...

A man can deny the Soviet holocaust—or even admit that it happened but try to justify it—and remain in good standing with the media and educational Establishments. The slightest whisper of approval for the lesser horrors of National Socialism, and a man is tainted for life… I can also imagine how the movement then led by the BNP might be smeared and discredited out of existence.

This is an absurd excuse for not backing the BNP. Dr Gabb is way too savvy to think it makes sense. The double standard does not enforce itself for its own ends. It is a tool of human agents pursuing their own ends thereby. Enoch Powell could not credibly be labelled a Nazi or former Nazi but after the ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech his career was smeared and discredited out of existence. Dr Gabb is right that for many people this strategy puts nationalism beyond the pale, but our response should not be to wait until the regime stops doing it -- it won’t -- the answer is to defy their smears and threats and get wholeheartedly behind the most prominent public champions of counter-revolution: the BNP.

I’m a racist no more...

The South Asian population is clustered in pockets and sharply segmented along religious and ethnic lines in London, southeast England, and the West Midlands in a region known as the ‘Asian corridor.’ Thus, Wembley has a greater concentration of Gujarati Hindus, while Southall is largely Sikh. Bradford and Birmingham are known for the Pakistani and Bangladeshi Muslim concentrations. Entire Sikh and Gujarati villages are imported into England replete with local politics. South Asians in Britain resist cultural homogenization and even maintain caste affiliations through their marriage traditions. Religion is the central organizing force for many British South Asians, with mosques, gurdwaras (Sikh places of worship), and temples functioning not only as centers of social life, but also of political protest. This adherence to religious and cultural identity and homeland politics has been a double-edged sword, keeping South Asians ghettoized on one hand, but also helping them cope with the stresses of living in a racist, European-dominated society. Racism is a daily reality in Britain, reinforced and institutionalized by entrenched patterns of residential accommodation and employment practices.

We nationalists often gripe about being called ‘racists’ - here’s the answer. Ditch the ‘racism’ and follow the example of the gentle Asian colonists: self-segregation on ethnic lines; active resistance to cultural homogenisation; adherence to religious and cultural identity; and top it all off with a bit of homeland politics. Easy!

They are bright people who write and edit encyclopaedias for prestigious academic publishers, normally anyway, so how did the writer of this entry and his editor fail to see the inconsistency? How do so many intelligent people fail to see so many inconsistencies?

Still, nice to have an authoritative source for the claim that whole villages from South Asia have been ‘imported’ into Britain. I’ve seen that called ‘paranoid fantasy’ before.

Methodists banned from joining BNP

Revd Sylvester Deigh, who proposed the Notice of Motion, said; “We must be clear that racism is a denial of the gospel. An openness to all people, regardless of nationality, is at the heart of Methodist identity.”

The principle of open-ness cannot be at the heart of identity, because open-ness unavoidably replaces the characteristics which supplied identity in the first place with random characteristics from outside, and because it’s a principle goes on doing this eternally. Methodists would be suicidal to impose this nihilistic anti-morality on themselves, the attempt to impose it on ethnic groups - which ultimately this amounts to - is genocidal.

Nurses warned not to think...

Designed only to have a chilling effect on dissenting views:

The Royal College of Nursing is to issue guidance to its members on dealing with ‘contentious political parties’, such as the BNP.

The college will not bar members from joining extremist political parties, nor will it criticise any political party, but the RCN’s director of communications Amanda Callaghan said guidance would remind members of the College’s commitment to equality and diversity.

Ms Callaghan said the RCN’s charitable status prevented it from either supporting or ‘not supporting’ political parties, and as a trade union it could not align itself politically. ‘But if we don’t engage with the debate, there could be a perception that we don’t care, or even that there is tacit agreement’, she said.

Ms Callaghan said the increased number of political representatives from parties like the BNP on local authorities, and even the fact that BNP chairman Nick Griffin now sits on the public health committee of the European Parliament, meant nurses were more likely to encounter extremist political parties in their day-to-day work.

Debate? The BNP would welcome one. The RCN’s actions here are designed to forestall the need ever to debate the BNP’s ideas.

The ‘Goddess’ Lumley

The Joanna Lumley / Gurkha story offers a demonstration of how easily the public can be manipulated against its settled views and its best interests by mindless feel-good arguments. Nobody who’s thought about it for a second really believes that the Gurkhas ‘risked their lives for Britain,’ they were mercenary soldiers fighting for payment.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was all along an exercise in testing the media’s power to direct public opinion concerning a rapidly emerging political issue. Even the BNP felt it necessary to recognise the Gurkhas’ absurd claim, not a good sign for the future. Conclusion: there is no such thing as ‘Too much love, drooling like syrup from too many famous mouths!’ (The Camp of the Saints)

Daily Mirror nails it...

Louisa Pilbeam of the Daily Mirror has compiled a formidable critique of the BNP’s policy platform and the idea that underpins it, that Britain belongs to its native peoples. I am ashamed that I once found these arguments convincing and wish to thank Miss Pilbeam for her penetrating deconstruction of the ideological bases of ethnic nationalism.

Euro elections: Dismay as BNP leader Nick Griffin wins seat

Britain was plunged into despair last night as racist BNP leader Nick Griffin won his North West seat. He joins fellow fascist Andrew Brons as the two fascist members of the EU Parliament. They will now attempt to promote their agenda of division and hate on behalf of British voters in Brussels. After his shock win, Griffin claimed it was a “great moment for democracy”. He added: “This is the British people fighting back.”

But he had to be smuggled into the venue for an election count. At least 70 people surrounded his car when he arrived at Manchester Town Hall and stopped him getting out. The crowd waved “Don’t Vote BNP” banners and chanted that the party were Nazis. A similar protest at a second entrance meant Griffin had to be smuggled in hidden in a police van.

The BNP, which does not accept non-white members, won its first European seat – from Labour. GMB union general secretary Paul Kenny said: “On D-Day Britain sent an army to stop the Nazis. Now we send Nazis to Europe to represent us.” Retired teacher Brons, 61, was elected MEP for Yorkshire & Humber region on the back of 120,139 votes. He had been a National Front member. Former London mayor Ken Livingstone said: “The BNP are 21st century Nazis.” Tory Mark Francois called it “a disappointing night for politics”. Far right parties did well across Europe, especially in the Netherlands.

If only arguments like this had been made before the election by journalists and politicians from the mainstream parties …
